Mainly addressed to those who have just a day to spend in a Rome Tour with  one of us, Rome Travel Guide. Private transportation is required for this tour to cover as much as we can in one day trip of Rome. For your brief Rome vacation, we will be visiting some of the Rome highlights, such as:

Caesars Palace    One of the most picturesque  sites of  our Rome Tour, it is where legends crossed the History of Rome. Romulus and Remus, Julius Caesar, Nero's Domus Aurea, Caesar Augustus, Livia, etc. the residence where most of the Caesars lived, we will be visiting what once was the most beautiful place in the whole Roman Empire. Highly recommended.

Colosseum Rome   Inaugurated by Emperor Titus on the year 80 a. D., it was the symbol of the Roman Caesars for about 250 years. Ludus Gladiatores, Venationes and Damnatio ad Bestias: there is such a magnetism in this place where Gladiators met their rivals, crew was mad about the executions of criminals in a scaring atmosphere.

Roman Forum  Being the very centre of Rome, we will be fascinated by its temples, basilicas and Senate House along with the Imperial Forums, last emblem of the Ancient Rome.

Circus Maximus   Rome is a wonderful movie set itself... portrayed in the movie " Ben Hur ",  land of chariots races... Well, start figuring out appx.  300.000 spectators acclaiming the hints of bigas, trigas and quadrigas... any entertainment at the Circus Maximus was a real attraction, a gem of the Ancient Rome.

Pantheon Rome  Second to none, for most of the visitors it does represents the real jewel of the entire Rome Tour. It's the best example of how a gem of the Ancient Rome turned into the Christian Church. 19 centuries of history in one single place and it is still intact.

St. Peter's Basilica  Inside the Vatican, The Roman Catholic Church has the most sublime of its Churches, St. Peter's. The Church is a museum itself where some of the best masterpieces were made by Michelangelo, Bernini. But also Popes, mosaics, the Early Church, etc.

Navona Square   The main Baroque site of Rome, where fountains, Churches, street painters, strolling musicians and ruins of Ancient Rome are next to each other in the real atmosphere of the city of XVIIth Century.

Trevi Fountain   It is the most enchanting fountain ever built in the City, the Rome Trevi. You will be impressed by its explosion of water-springs, rocks, tritons (and people...) made in Travertine marble. Main Rome Tourist Spot.

Spanish Steps Nowadays are simply used as a meeting spot not only by the tourists but also by native Romans. Again, when in Rome do what the Romans do. The British, the French and the Spanish communities of Rome mostly chose this area to live in the past centuries. Main shopping Area of Rome.

Colonna Square  If you watched the movie  " The Gladiator " this Piazza will evoke you some scenes. Located downtown Rome, we also will  admire the Italian Government Palace, better known in Italy as " Palazzo Chigi ".

Venice Square    The biggest of the historical squares of Rome, in just one place you may have a 360° view of  downtown Rome. Enriched with past and present Rome monuments, we may spend some time just to get the feeling of Rome central square.

Capitol Hill  Better known as the Queen of the Seven Hills, it became famous since the old times. " All Roads lead to Rome ": this is the place where departed all Roman roads. The time frame covered is really impressive: Etruscans, Romulus, Julius Caesar, Caesars Augustus, Marcus Aurelius, Constantine,  Middle Ages, Italian Renaissance, the Capitoline Museums (first museum in the world) and, of course, Michelangelo.

Theatre of Marcellus Restored and cleaned for the Jubilee, you may here have a good idea of the old theatres that were decorating the Ancient Rome: built in Travertine marble, it was turned on its upper level in XVIth C. into private apartments now owned by an Aristocratic Family.

Baths of Caracalla Another gem of Rome, it is  fascinating to be exactly where the Romans spent their free time in these never-ending and huge rooms. Second largest in Ancient Rome, today's equivalent are the SPA whose origin is in fact Salus Per Aquam ( Health Through Water )

Caestius' Pyramid  Done once the Romans conquered Egypt, we have the only old pyramid existing in Europe, made out of Travertine marble, being a great thumb of this gentleman who died on the Ist Century b. C.

Rome City Walls ( The Aurelian Walls )   The very first city walls (VIth Century b. C. ) were safer and more efficient than the "modern" ones, updated 17 centuries ago... 19 Km large along Rome. Unique in Europe.
