Let's say that it's impossible to concentrate 17 Centuries of
History in one web page. A lifetime could not last in describing how much can be found in the city of
Rome of the Catholic Church.
|
| |
|
However, we are immensely pleased to guide
individual families or people who are here for a Pilgrimage through the most
significant
spots of the Catholic Church in Rome.
We really do special itineraries on request as well
customizing everyone's trip to Rome. We are
native and grown up in Rome. |
| |
|
Throughout your Rome Tour, it is useful to remind that the Eternal
City is the cradle of Roman Catholic Church, other than the
Vatican City: 24 Basilicas, over 60 Catacombs of Rome, hundreds
of Catholic Churches ...
In addition, the Vatican City
and specifically the Vatican Museums. |
| |
|
Of course, here below we did a selection of the highlights
especially for the Rome Churches ... In this page
we skipped to insert the
Vatican - and specifically the Vatican Museum - as you may find them here in the
Vatican web
pages. |
| |
|
Rometravels does not
want to be a full guide of the Catholic Churches in Rome as we would need more
than one Encyclopedia. However, we propose sample of tours with a logic itinerary. We may
a combination of tours, being extremely flexible. Here below it is just a
list of things that can be seen, of course, not in one day except for the
Catacombs and the Papal Audience. |

If you are looking something specific, or make
any mix, no problem. However, consider that in Rome there is an historical Church for
every community who lived and is still living in the Eternal City. Some
foreigner communities may follow their services in their own language (Roman
Catholic and sometimes non-catholic: ask for details): American, Armenian,
Croatian, French, English, German, Greek, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese,
Russian, Scottish, Spanish, Swedish. |

It takes place every Wednesday, if the Holy Father is in Rome
Vatican.
It is one of the main events of the Catholicism. We may provide for the best
tickets/seats. Usually people never forget this experience in St. Peter's
Square. Pope Benedict XVI, as well as His great predecessor, John Paul II,
speaks a quite good English and, other than people, He is used to bless
objects at the very end of His audience. |
